Step Up and Serve
- The world needs more doers. People who see a problem and step up and pitch in. People who don’t wait for someone else to take care of each other’s needs. People who take charge and make the world a better place. Serving doesn’t have to mean traveling across the globe; it can be as simple as helping out a neighbor. Rose will challenge your group to think differently and to look for ways to put the needs of others above yourselves.
- Perfect for FFAs, youth groups, ag organizations, women’s groups, Young Ag Professionals, and more
Girl Power
- What does it mean to be a woman in agriculture? It could mean connecting with consumers, running a multi-million dollar business, or working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Or maybe, you are still figuring it out. No matter what your role is, as a female, you play an important part in the success of our industry. The presentation will celebrate the unique roles we play as women in agriculture, while also taking time to laugh about the predicaments we some times find ourselves in.

Agvocates in Action
- If you don’t tell your story, then someone else will. In agriculture, are we comfortable with our non-farm neighbors creating the dialogue about what it is we do? If not, then it is time to agvocate. This program will share some examples of the most recognized agvocates out there, discuss qualities that make a good agvocate, explore the importance of sharing your story, and encourage your group to get involved in crafting a positive message about today’s agriculture.
- Perfect for FFAs, youth groups, ag organizations, women’s groups, Young Ag Professionals, and more
Next Gen
- Look around the room at any community function; most likely the audience reflects an aging demographic. Because of demands on their time, both personally and professionally, it is harder for young people to show up and make their voices heard. An issue facing our society is empowering younger generations to get involved. This program focuses on the unique qualities of younger generations, roadblocks to engaging them in service, ideas for equipping them to get involved, and suggestions for working side by side with people of different age groups.
- Perfect for ag organizations, women’s groups, ag businesses, community groups, and more
Finding Your Fit on the Family Farm
- To say that it can be extremely challenging to get started or to grow a career in production agriculture is an understatement. Over the past decade in particular, land prices have skyrocketed and machinery expenses have gone through the roof, while commodity markets have struggled to keep up. Now more than ever, it is time to get creative. By working together with others with shared ideals, setting clear goals for what you want to accomplish, and diversifying where it makes sense, you can find your fit in agriculture. Whether you have married into a farm, are working a 9-5 job, or are considering starting from scratch, this presentation is for you.

The Evolution of Ag
- In 1930, one farmer fed 10 people each year, 25% of the American income was spent on food, and 22% of the workforce farmed. Now, almost 90 years later, America’s famers feed 155 people each year, only 10% of the American income goes toward food, and 2% of our country’s population farms. The times of changed, but the values and ideals surrounding American agriculture remain the same. Learn how the ag industry has changed over the years and what the future holds.

Keeping the Peace
- Working with family on a day-to-day basis creates unique challenges. The most powerful tool in addressing those is communication. Learn how to ask open-ended questions of one another and how to foster an atmosphere conducive to deep conversations, while navigating the different dynamics that exist in any group. Family businesses should not prevent comfortable family dinners. This presentation is a perfect segue to succession conversations.

Be The Brand
- Brands are everywhere. We inundated with them every day. Brands are how our businesses or organizations are perceived on an emotional level. This presentation will equip participants with the talking points and characteristics needed to deliver an effective elevator speech about your group while also building in key messages from your organization. Participants will leave with valuable knowledge needed to be effective ambassadors of your business’s or organization’s brand.
